My Vieja Hybrid

Hey yall this a pic of my male vieja hybrid dont know what kind but very colorful and fertile i currently have 24 fry from him and my other vieja hybrid female. they are really colorful the camera does no justice but the tails of my pair are very very pinkish red and the male shows alot of blue green and orange on the body. so let me know what u guys think .

How To Get Hump

Hey gang just wanted to know what to throw in the mix i just recently had a spawn from some very colorful veija hybrid and i have about 15 babies that are swimming around. what i want to know is i want to keep the same looking fish but to bring kok out on them. what im getting at is do i breed the babies to another fish that has kok or what so plz help i will post the pics real soon . this is the female guarding the eggs before they hatched the has alot more colors and is pushing about 4 1/2 to 5 inches and she is around 3 to 3 1/2. so plz someone let me know i love this hobby and want to become a breeder for that many hobbiest can enjoy these beautiful pets as i have .

They Laid Eggs

Today this afternnon i noticed that my male was chasing the female a bit so i left them alone when i got back home to my surprise she laid about 150 to 200 eggs the male has been passing over the eggs alot thank god he is not eating them but its still to early to pop bottles so ill keep u guys posted i might turn the temp up to 85 it is at 82 right now

Will This Work

i just wondering i have very pearly female carpintis and i was just at the local pet smart they have about 8 midas cichlids about 3 to 4 inches and there is one that is controlling the tank so i say he's the male looks like a male too. so if i breed female carpintis to male red midas would i get red texas cichlids or no. by the way all the midas are fire orange red but the male i see is very very orange red so plz let me know so i can buy him up.
